Indigenous Learning Bundle
Goals for the Project
The goal for this project was to create digital Indigenous-led teaching resources that privilege Indigenous knowledges and perspectives in teaching and learning at Western, with the desire to increase access to Indigenous knowledges. This included filming interviews with members from the Office of Indigenous Initiatives and creating content to then be combined into video format over the course of several bundles that covered different areas of Indigenous knowledge.
How Did We Achieve the Project Goals?
Each bundle had a dedicated client leading the content development and ITRC designer creating the finalized product. This was accomplished by filming interviews, editing videos, designing graphics, and gathering external resources such as images or audio clips, while utilizing a common design scheme to ensure a consistent look and feel across every bundle. All of these elements contributed to creating a complete picture of the bundle’s main topic in a way that could be engaging for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
